Hyolmo Palri Health Clinic
Heal Nepal has established a Hyolmo Palri Health Center in Helambu -2, Ningale at Guru Rinpochhe Park and has been catering the basic health service to the surrounding villages of Sermathang, Chhimi, Syamgyar, Jyalsa, Takpakharka, Thalo since 2017. On its inauguration on Dec. 2017, Hon. Minister Mr. Gagan Kumar Thapa send a message congratulating the team for building Health post in Rural Mountainous community of Sindhupalchok and further wishing the team very best for smooth operation and provision of quality health service among the community.

Dr. Lama is the Founding Chair and a key person behind the inception of Major project of Heal Nepal. He was actively involved in Rescue operations, Relief Activities and Rehabilitation projects during the maga earthquake in Nepal in 2015 April. He believes that to bring a positive change among the community through any project, participation of local community should be the central frame of any organization when planting a project, reinforced with active linking of government bodies, technical experts, and other organization who share the same objective. In developing countries like Nepal, Particularly Health and education are the fundamental building blocks to uplift the livelihood of communities in Long run offering technical and materials Aids where minor gaps can beinstantly bridged. Besides, Dr. Lama is also a Clinician and has worked in numerous health institute within country like Dhulikhel Hospital- Kathmandu University Hospital, Chiranjivi Model Hospital- Melamchi, Bodgaun Medical Center- Sindhupalchpok. Though has also worked as a Medical officer in island country Maldives, under ministry of health, his heart has always been in the Mountains of Nepal .
Tashi D. Hyolmo

Tashi Lama is the Driving force behind the organization taking care of every operating being carried out to the minute details. With the background as an Academician, building School and operating it, he accumulates a vast experience in project implementation with special interest in sustainability and longevity of the effects. With his active involvement in other organisations like Nepal Hyolmo Social Service Center, Yangrima Trust, Mountain Spirit, Hyolmo Foundation he boast a wide network among the forerunner of development practice in Himalayas of Nepal. His core interest is in fusing the essence of Local culture in development practice be it in coordinating a construction of unified community settlement in the village of Shyomkharka Nuwakot, in traditional Merchyakuma style in Post earthquake days or as a expert of Hyolmo language, organizing interaction programs and presenting papers on seminars on importance of cultural identity and its preservation as a root to civilization that we have reached so far in present days.
Sonam Dorjee Lama

Born and brought up in the Langtang Himalayan region of Helambu, Mr. Sonam Dorjee is the dynamic energy and fresh mindset for Heal Nepal team. His contribution in facilitating the building of water project plan via. Heal Nepal in Collaboration with Kathmandu University Department of engineering for the village of Sermathang is commendable. He works physically connecting all the team members for strategic planning and implementing the action plans to realize the set goals with SMART approach be it health care, school projects, organizing trainings or conducting regular meetings . As much as his love for mountain topography, vegetation and wild life and an intricate relation with human settlement around it fascinates him, the reality of climate change and its impact deeply concerns him. He is pursuing his Batchelors degree in science in Tri Bhuwan University and beside the core academic learning he believes in learning from different atmosphere and zones across the boundary and practical approach of knowledge transference to implement a sustainable ecology building, organic farming in Home land.

Student Sponsorship program
In collaboration with Canada Nepal Medical Society, Heal Nepal supports SEE graduate students from Sindhupalchok and surrounding district to pursue careers in Health care. So far 6 students have been trained as ANM and are now working in different part of Nepal. In present context of Nepal, when large numbers of energetic youths leave the country in search of better life in terms of better income, a worrisome gap is being generated to fetch the need of physical and mental resources, health, in order to build a quality livelihood of the people residing in rural communities.
